Actually, that's a tough question! At Panelworks we wouldn't use anything but the best suspension and brake products. These are key to safety and performance and you really can't afford to work with anything less than the best if you care about your car's performance and your own personal safety.
Panelworks extensively uses both Total Control and our RRS products ...
If you check out all of our Ford Mustang and other classic car restorations featured on this site you will find either Total Control or RRS (Racing Revelation Suspension) parts used exclusively in almost all of them. Our panel shop guys love Total Control products and recommend them to our customers: on the other hand, we were so impressed with RRS that we chose to become an agent for them in New Zealand (they are an Australian-based company) and also use them extensively in our car restoration work.
So how do we choose on any given day?
To be honest, I don't really know. They are both shit-hot products and you can't really go wrong with either of them. Sometimes our car owner clients have a preference and it may occasionally be a slight advantage in using one over the other but it's a coin toss really.
